I meant to post this yesterday but underestimated the sheer amount of formatting. Anyway, between updating an old agent and releasing a new one, I finally finished reinstalling C3/DS. While reinstalling, I also put together a list of agent I installed and backed them up for later. After I realized just how many agents I had found links for, I decided to turn it into a blog post. I should probably mention that my particular play style features a lot of metaroom customization and third party downloads. Depending on how you play the game, you might not find this list useful. If nothing else, I hope the list of patches/fixes is helpful. Finding some of them can be a real pain.

Grendel-infested Waters
(Ignore the slight gap in the posts, my crop of cacti were infested by bugs and it always takes more time to squish them then you think it does.) First, here's an update on the Lavender Grendels from the Mobula Ray world. All but one of them died out and the one that survived, Etienne, survived because he was exported. So I hatched a bunch of first gens for him and watched over them carefully. I even rigged up some antibacterial spray to spray every so often. The grendels turned these into toys, but they still did wonderfully. By the time Etienne's generation died, they had 20 children! Etienne had 11 children while another male had 9. Why have I mentioned the grendels here? Because one of the Creatures Challenge over at the Discover Albia forum caught my eye around the time I was deciding what to do with all of these babies. I decided to create a summer-themed world just for them.
Summer to me means water, heat, and way too many insects everywhere. So I created an aquatic world... for terrestrial grendels. Normally this would end up with a load of dead grendels, but through the magic of magic words I could give these lucky grendels air bubbles so they didn't end up drowning. The rest of the world was setup like most of my pet worlds end up, overly decorated and easy to live in. Sadly, the world didn't have space for all 20 of the babies, so I chose 10 random grendels. I also went with the somewhat fitting theme of "random bodies of water" which meant names that went from Arroyo to Puddle.
I ended up with four males and 6 females, all of which seemed to get along with each other. Firth, Arroyo, Gulf, Spring, and Mere were in Aquanornia, while Puddle, Creek, Cove, Delta, and Bay were in the Oasis. Balmora was also taking a vacation there, but she was more interested in the Vibraphone them meeting her new neighbors. How well did the grendels settle in? Find out next time! For now, here's a list of most of the agents used in the world:
Metarooms:
Oasis - Created by Liam and Moe. It needs a lot of work to get it habitable, but it's very pretty.

National Radio Day!
Happy National Radio Day! I don't actually listen to the radio a lot,
just Pandora or one of the other internet radios. I love to listen to
old radio dramas though. Strangely enough, I discovered my favorite one
through a Fallout 3 radio mod. It played old recordings of an old sci-fi
show called X Minus One. I loved it so much, that I found it online
and downloaded them all. Not all of them are memorable, but most are
very entertaining. The one I remember the best is the one where humanity
is trapped underground after the nuclear bombs fell, much like Fallout 3. I can't remember
the name of it though.
Also, there was a Creatures radio show at one point! There aren't any recording from the show, but the original site has been archived. I found it while searching for radio agents, and thought it was too neat .
There aren't a lot of radio agents, but the C3/DS ones are pretty good. Two of them are just the beat box from C3 in an object pack. The one from the connective agent pack does allow you to inject it in DS standalone, if you have C3 installed. The survivor and portal radios are probably the most interesting radios in this bunch. They play different songs, and the survivor radio even makes the Creatures around it say something.
C1:
Tape Player by Mokus
C2:
Hanson Radio by AntiNorn
Xmas radio by Celeste
C3/DS:
Portal Radio by Ghosthande
Survivor Radio by Ghosthande
Beat Box (in the More Pack) by Ylukyun
DS Beat Box (in the DS Connective Agent Pack) by Mirality Systems

National Escargot Day!
I love random, possibly fake, holidays, and today just so happens to be National Escargot Day. Escargot, for those who don't know, is cooked snails. It's popular in Spain and France, and I've never actually tried it. I don't really want to try it either. Why did I bring up the holidy then? Mostly because I wanted to highlight some weird Creatures things and this is as good of an excuse as any!
There aren't to many snail agents. but there was a snail breed called the Snail Ettins. It was made by Dementchild for C1 and C2. Sadly it looks like the breed has been lost. The site it was hosted on is dead and I couldn't find a mirror of the site.
There are snails in C2 and C3 originally, but there's also a handful of snail-inspired agents made by other people. The only C2 snail agent is the Envy Snail by Helen. There's a few snail agents in C3/DS though. The snails from C2 have been converted into C3/DS twice by different people, once by Edash and another time by Malkin. The ones made by Malkin require the Garden Box, but they are also edible! So your Creatures can take part in National Escargot day. After they're done eating snails, they can warm up by the snail torch. Or if they're bored, they can play with their Squeak Snail instead.
Snail-themed Creatures things:
Breeds:
Snail Ettin by Dementchild
C2 agents:
Envy Snail by Helen
C3/DS agents:
Albian Snail by Edash
Snail Torch by TwilightCat and Bug
